Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information and telecommunications technology or equivalent
• Several years of practical experience in the design and operation of HF radio-based systems (satellite radio, directional radio, mobile radio)
• Knowledge of the function and technologies of modern IP-based networks (LAN/WAN)

Responsibilities

• Take on the internal expert function and technical leadership regarding the operation, planning, and development of satellite-based and other communication infrastructures
• Be the first technical contact and consultant for all operational and conceptual questions regarding satellite or other communication
• Develop analyses and planning tasks to optimize existing and design new satellite communication connections and services
• Evaluate new technologies and develop ideas and proposals for their usability for existing and new products and services
• Be responsible for the technology selection and technical support of procurement, implementation, and rollout in internal and customer projects
• Contribute to the strategic development of Satcom-based services and products as an internal consultant for sales, operations, and management
