Requirements

• Completed Volontariat in news, online, or SEO
• Experience in an online editorial team
• Passion for Boulevard journalism and engaging a large readership
• Fast digital news production skills, strong writing style, and a sense for trending topics
• Experience with smartphone photography and video production
• Class B driver's license and willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Produce digital content and consumer news for the Ruhrgebiet and NRW regions
• Identify and research trending topics using digital metrics
• Produce publish-ready articles on the most important topics of the day
• Edit content (text, photo, video) and provide feedback to authors
• Manage DerWesten.de and social media channels during CvD shifts
