Requirements

• Completed Volontariat and several years of journalistic experience as a Lokalreporter*in
• Strong sense of digital journalism and interest in local journalism
• Experience with social media channels, particularly Facebook and Instagram
• Proficiency in digital analytics tools
• Strong communication, coordination, organization, and planning skills
• Team player with initiative and empathy

Responsibilities

• Support the digital transformation of FUNKE's local editorial teams
• Develop strategies for user acquisition and engagement based on data analysis
• Conduct training sessions on the use of Facebook, newsletters, push notifications, and SEO-optimized article preparation
• Stay up-to-date with user needs in terms of topic selection, content presentation, and channel mix
• Participate in weekly balance meetings and daily conferences to deepen knowledge and promote a feedback culture
