Requirements

• Open-mindedness, curiosity, clarity, and critical thinking
• Interest in crime-related topics, criminology, and justice
• Familiarity with ZEIT Verbrechen magazine, @zeit_verbrechen Instagram channel, and "ZEIT Verbrechen" podcast
• Strong language skills and previous experience in various journalistic text forms
• Experience in social media, including creating posts, video editing, and designing journalistic Instagram formats
• Intellectual perseverance and continuous acquisition of in-depth knowledge through studies
• Proficiency in online and offline research methods
• Active presence on various social media platforms

Responsibilities

• Conducting research and writing extensive texts for the print edition
• Managing social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram
• Completing various assigned tasks and receiving fair feedback
• Providing two to three work samples demonstrating journalistic abilities, preferably related to a criminal case
• Submitting valid proof of student status and any necessary certificates from the university or journalism school
