Requirements

Bachelor's degree in (Media) Computer Science or a related field
Several years of experience in technical SEO
Deep understanding of technical aspects of a website such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with Google Tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics & Google Ads), SEMrush, Sistrix, Screaming Frog & Ahrefs
Analytical skills, proactive and independent work style, and strong teamwork skills
Knowledge of Clouddiensten such as AWS or Cloudflare and JSON, JSON-LD, XML

Responsibilities

Check the website structure to ensure it is optimally accessible to search engines
Identify and fix technical errors that may affect a website's indexing or ranking
Ensure that websites load quickly and efficiently using caching technologies and compression tools
Monitor and analyze technical metrics such as load time, server response time, use of JavaScript, and mobile user-friendliness
Optimize XML sitemaps and robots.txt files and support search engines in understanding website content using schema markups
Collaborate with other team members, such as the DevOps team, to improve hosting

Shape the digital transformation of the media group
