Requirements

  • Abitur, completed commercial training or a degree in media or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a media company
  • Excellent German language skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a structured manner
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • SAP knowledge and experience in accounting are advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the editor-in-chief, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and correspondence
  • Plan and organize editorial events, as well as assist with training and workshops
  • Assist with proofreading online articles
  • Conduct research for the editor-in-chief, including interview preparation and guest management
  • Handle invoice verification and serve as a liaison between the editorial team and accounting
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and act as a link between the editor-in-chief, departments, and other teams
  • Support the editor-in-chief and HR in onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain an overview of ongoing projects and deadlines and ensure efficient workflow
