Requirements

• Completed degree, journalism internship, or equivalent education at a journalism school
• Experience as an author for magazines or newspapers
• Good network of contacts and proficiency in print and online media
• Strong knowledge of economic concepts, good English skills, and a solid general education
• Quick comprehension and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics
• Desire to advance business journalism as part of a team
• High level of creativity, resilience, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Researching investigative stories and exclusive news on current economic topics
• Writing reports, profiles, features, and traditional magazine stories and presenting them in an appealing way
• Focusing on companies and finance, but also able to cover a broader range of topics
• Setting own priorities through exclusive stories and quickly and comprehensively addressing current trends and developments
• Writing for the print magazine and with online competence for digital channels
• Contributing creative ideas to the further development of WirtschaftsWoche
