Requirements

• Journalistic education, preferably experience at a news agency
• Interest and knowledge in EU politics and international political contexts
• Creativity and a good sense for news and topics of conversation
• Reporting competence focused on customer and reader perspective
• Multimedia thinking and understanding of the requirements of all media types
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Strong presence and representative skills
• Teamwork and clear communication
• Strong commitment and high resilience
• Good English and preferably French language skills

Responsibilities

• Primarily focused reporting on the European Union
• Reporting on internationally relevant topics from Belgium
• Planning and reporting on current, medium-term, and long-term EU topics and events
• Collaboration and coordination with other editorial teams, as well as photo, video, audio, and graphics
• Researching and writing texts
• Taking photos, videos, and audios
• Contact with Brussels EU authorities and related reporting
