Requirements

• Journalism degree and ideally professional experience as an editor in the economic field
• Ability to write quickly and accurately under time pressure
• Ability to explain complex economic processes in understandable language
• Journalistic creativity and experience
• Multimedial thinking and understanding of the requirements of different media types
• Team-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Reporting on economic topics for the base and regional service
• Developing a network of informants and press offices in companies, associations, and authorities
• Recognizing trends and translating them into journalistic formats
• Working in teams on economic topics
• Reporting primarily on retail and the food industry and actively contributing to the dpa topic network
