Requirements

• Completed Volontariat and several years of journalistic experience as a local reporter
• Sensitivity to relevant local topics
• Knowledge of digital journalism practices and the use of analytics tools
• Experience with social media platforms, especially Facebook
• Familiarity with the Siegerland region

Responsibilities

• Implementing local news on digital and analog channels, including social media
• Building a network of contacts
• Analyzing user interests using dashboard data
• Demonstrating creativity in journalistic photography, videography, and topic selection
• Collaborating with colleagues from the production desk
