Requirements

• Completed Volontariat and several years of journalistic experience as a local reporter
• Proven sense of relevant local topics
• Knowledge of digital journalistic methods and the use of analysis tools
• Experience in using social media channels, especially Facebook
• Familiarity with Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis or willingness to learn about the region and its people

Responsibilities

• Implementing relevant local topics across all digital and analog channels, including social media
• Building a network of contacts and maintaining it
• Analyzing user interests using dashboard data
• Demonstrating creativity in journalistic photography and videography and in finding topics beyond the schedule
• Working closely with the production desk
