Requirements

• Previous journalistic experience through internships or freelance work
• Completed university studies or vocational training
• High affinity for digital and social media
• Strong writing skills with an understanding of online and mobile article design (SEO, viral, multimedial)
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends

Responsibilities

• Start a two-year crossmedia training program to become a Redakteur*in
• Gain valuable insights into the Berlin central editorial office and our local editorial offices in the Hamburg area
• Learn the journalistic craft from A to Z and discover how to research, produce, publish, and optimize content for digital channels
• Work with experienced journalists who will train and support you intensively
• Choose a focus area based on your individual interests, such as local journalism, culture, or podcasting, and become a professional in your field
• Participate in e-learnings and workshops offered by ProContent and Hamburg Media School
