Requirements

• Completed degree and journalistic training
• Professional experience in an economic editorial office
• Very good knowledge of economics and finance
• Ideally, experience in reporting on central banks, monetary policy, and related topics
• Good network and knowledge of relevant actors
• Ability to evaluate news quickly and securely

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit stories on the top topics in the field of monetary policy, particularly the European Central Bank and the Bundesbank, and stories on relevant markets such as bonds and currencies
• Conduct interviews and maintain contacts with national and international top central banks
• Prepare content for digital channels, print editions, podcasts, and other media formats
• Moderate panel discussions at Handelsblatt conferences and conduct live interviews on all topics relevant to monetary policy, central banks, and markets
