Requirements

• Completed university degree and journalistic training
• Experience as an author for newspapers, magazines, or news agencies
• Experience in finance, climate, and energy reporting
• Good knowledge of economic relationships and general education, ideally with experience in data journalism
• Good English skills, preferably with journalistic experience abroad
• Quick comprehension and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics
• High degree of creativity, resilience, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct editorial reporting in the field of economy and politics for Handelsblatt's print and digital channels
• Independently write current reports, interviews, features, reports, and comments with a focus on energy, climate, and finance reporting
• Implement creative ideas to make the reporting diverse and exciting
• Develop topic ideas, prioritize them, and prepare them
• Observe, comment on, and accompany current developments in all areas of economy and politics
