Requirements

• Completed university degree, journalism apprenticeship, or comparable education at a journalism school
• Extensive experience as an author for magazines or newspapers, with excellent writing and editing skills
• Proficiency in reporting and investigative storytelling
• Broad knowledge and a strong network in the business and political sectors
• Good understanding of economic contexts, good English skills, and a very good general education
• Quick comprehension and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics
• Desire to advance business journalism as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Researching scoops, backgrounds, and investigative articles on politics and the business world
• Independently writing classic magazine stories, interviews, features, reports, and comments (print and digital)
• Maintaining contacts in the German economy, especially with DAX corporations and relevant companies from Germany and abroad
• Developing innovative story ideas and recognizing trends before others do
• Setting own priorities through exclusive stories and quickly and comprehensively addressing current trends and developments
