Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• Several years of experience in financial accounting and process management, preferably with leadership experience
• Proficiency in HGB and ideally good knowledge of IFRS, experience in media/publishing sector is a plus
• Strong communication skills, ability to inspire and motivate teams, and adapt communication style to different audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation process in financial accounting to establish efficient and forward-thinking processes
• Manage the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Analyze and optimize relevant processes (P2P, O2C, RTR) to ensure timely and quality financial statements
• Oversee the annual financial audit and act as the main contact for auditors and tax consultants
