Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Good to very good knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) based on Node.js and experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Serverless Framework)
  • Profound knowledge of databases (SQL) and the ability to perform full-stack development
  • Creative and solution-oriented approach with a passion for code quality
  • Interest in personal development and a good sense of aesthetics and usability
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Ideally, very secure handling of React/Node.js, good to very good knowledge and experience in HTML/CSS3/SASS as well as JavaScript, and familiarity with interface programming

Responsibilities

  • Refactoring of existing projects and identification of optimization potential
  • Support in the architecture of new systems/applications/tools
  • Writing effective and clean code that meets our quality standards and makes daily work easier for the team
  • Managing the source code with GitLab
  • Independent work and driving the development of our products and internal processes forward
  • Close collaboration with the team (developers, product owner, UI/UX, editorial) in the creation of concepts and simple architectures
  • Bringing in own ideas and experiences to the team
