Requirements

• Enrolled student able to work approximately 16 hours per week for at least one year
• Experience in the media field, such as internships or freelance work
• Passion for current affairs, particularly German news, and enjoyment of fast-paced reporting and strong headlines
• Strong writing style with an understanding of mobile article formatting and the ability to work quickly and independently
• Availability to work on weekends, preferably in a mobile office

Responsibilities

• Creating content in the form of text, photos, or videos for the News & Regionales department
• Conducting independent research and producing search engine optimized content and viral stories
• Managing text formatting and image selection in the content management system
• Working on strategic projects and gaining insights into online journalism
• Weekend and shift work at the news desk
