Requirements

• Enrolled student able to work 16-20 hours per week for at least one year
• Experience in the media field, such as internships or freelance work
• Passion for current political events, particularly in Germany, and enjoyment of fast news and strong headlines
• Interest in social policy topics
• Strong writing skills with an understanding of mobile article formatting and ability to work independently and quickly

Responsibilities

• Creating content in the form of text, photos, or videos from the areas of politics, news, and regional topics
• Independent research and production of search engine optimized content and viral stories
• Finding exclusive stories, conducting interviews, and making inquiries to politicians, authorities, and associations
• Text preparation in the content management system, including image selection
• Weekend and shift work at the news desk
• Working on strategic projects and gaining insights into an online editorial team
