The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, programming, and machine learning, and will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on business and performance metrics, as well as developing quantitative models and machine learning solutions.
A degree in MINT subjects, business administration, or economics with computer science intersections, or a comparable education
First-hand experience in data analysis and advising business stakeholders
Proficiency in Python/R and SQL programming languages
Experience in applying machine learning algorithms and data mining methods from concept to production
Responsibilities
Translate complex patterns into concise explanations, visualize, abstract, and communicate these results to different internal interest groups
Monitor, report, and analyze relevant business and performance metrics
Responsible for holistic (web) data analysis and improvement of analysis processes
Work in cross-functional projects at the interface between product, editorial, data, and engineering
Develop quantitative models to predict and evaluate the behavior of our readers and design machine learning solutions for various use cases such as churn prediction, reach attribution, or user clustering
