Requirements

• A degree in IT or a relevant field, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in building and operating complex IT systems, including container operation on cloud platforms (such as GCP) in Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging (possibly also tracing) in scaled, distributed container landscapes
• A cloud-native mindset and knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, Immutability, and Zero-Downtime-Deployments
• Programming skills in Shell and at least one modern language (Go, Java, Python, etc.)
• Advanced understanding of HTTP, experience with High Performance Load Balancing, Web-Caching, CDN technology, or Edge Computing
• Fluent in German and English

Responsibilities

• Expert for the Cloud landscape, which you will independently manage and continuously develop
• Ensure that our offerings are performant, stable, and securely accessible even under high load
• Develop infrastructure and automation code that is sustainable, well-documented, and transparent
• Act as a contact person for our developers and be an expert in one or more special areas, such as monitoring or IAM
