Job parameters


Requirements

  • A successful degree or relevant qualification
  • Several years of experience in building and operating complex IT systems, including container operation on cloud platforms such as GCP in Kubernetes
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing in scaled, distributed container landscapes
  • A cloud-native mindset and understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, Immutability, and Zero-Downtime-Deployments
  • Programming skills in Shell and at least one modern language (Go, Java, Python, etc.)
  • Advanced understanding of HTTP, experience with high-performance load balancing, web-caching, CDN technology, or edge computing are advantageous
  • Proficiency in German and English

Responsibilities

  • Expertly manage and continuously develop the company's cloud landscape
  • Ensure that the company's offerings are performant, stable, and securely accessible even under high load
  • Develop infrastructure and automation code that is sustainable, well-documented, and transparent
  • Act as a point of contact for developers and be an expert in one or more specializations, such as monitoring or IAM
