Job parameters


Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree, IT vocational training, or relevant comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in building and operating complex IT systems, including container operations on cloud platforms (such as GCP) in Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging in scaled, distributed container environments.
  • Cloud-native mindset with knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, Immutability, and Zero-Downtime Deployments.
  • Programming skills in Shell and at least one modern language (Go, Java, Python, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of HTTP, experience with high-performance load balancing, web caching, CDN technology, or edge computing is advantageous.
  • Fluent in German (spoken and written) and proficient in English (code is written in English).

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in managing and continuously developing the company's cloud landscape.
  • Ensuring performance, stability, and security of the company's offerings under high load.
  • Developing infrastructure and automation code that is sustainable, well-documented, and transparent.
  • Acting as a contact person for developers and being an expert in one or more specialized areas, such as Security/DevSecOps.
