Requirements

• Native English speaker with a good command of German.
• Degree in languages/journalism or several years of experience as an editor at an English-language magazine, newspaper, or online journalistic medium.
• Experience in researching, writing, and editing texts in English.
• Experience in communicating English to German-speaking target groups in print, digital, and audio.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, InCopy, and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Develop cross-media topics for the magazine in print, digital, and audio formats.
• Edit journalistic and didactic texts for the magazine, audio trainer, and exercise booklet.
• Communicate editorial topics via social media and newsletters.
• Manage a network of freelance authors and international correspondents.
• Contribute to the ongoing conceptual and content development of Spotlight.
