Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in IT or relevant technical education and/or relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge of common Linux operating systems and experience in data center operations with extensive IT infrastructure
• Good knowledge of orchestration/automation techniques and some experience in the public cloud field
• Experience in storage and backup/recovery technologies is desirable
• Creativity and enjoyment of working with the latest IT technologies
• Reliability, teamwork, and independent action in an increasingly agile context

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, administration, and monitoring of Linux operating systems and their interfaces
• Management of container environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, or container services in private and public clouds
• Expansion and optimization of installation and operational processes using automation tools such as Ansible and IaaC such as Terraform
• Support in the operation of virtual infrastructure based on NetApp HCI and VMware, as well as in the area of storage (NetApp Metro-Cluster) and backup (Commvault)
• Testing of innovative and forward-looking concepts for the continuous development of the CoreSystems&Automation area
• Coordination of additional service providers
