Requirements

• Previous journalistic experience through internships or freelance work
• Successful completion of a university degree or vocational training
• Strong affinity for digital and social media
• Good sense of graphic and visual presentation of topics
• Familiarity with local stories, politics, and economics

Responsibilities

• Start a two-year cross-media Volontariat at NRZ
• Train in regional local editorial teams and gain insights into the Berlin central editorial team and online editorial team
• Learn the journalistic craft from A to Z, including researching, producing, publishing, and optimizing content for digital channels
• Work with experienced journalists who will provide intensive training and support
• Choose a specialization based on individual interests
• Participate in E-Learnings and workshops by ProContent and Hamburg Media School
