Requirements

• First journalistic experiences through internships or freelance work
• Completed university studies or vocational training
• High affinity for digital and social media
• Good sense for graphic and visual presentation of topics
• Familiarity with local stories, politics, and economics

Responsibilities

• Start a two-year cross-media Volontariat as a Redakteur*in
• Training in regional local editorial offices and insights into the Berlin central editorial office and the mantle and online editorial office
• Learn the journalistic craft from A to Z and gain experience in researching, producing, publishing, and optimizing content for digital channels
• Work with experienced journalists who will provide intensive training and support
• Choose a specialization based on individual interests
