Requirements

• Previous journalistic experience through internships or freelance work
• Successful completion of a university degree or vocational training
• High affinity for digital and social media
• Good sense of graphic and visual presentation of topics
• Interest in local stories, politics, and economics

Responsibilities

• Start a two-year cross-media traineeship program to become a Redakteur*in
• Complete training in regional local editorial offices and gain valuable insights into the Berlin central editorial office as well as our feature and online editorial offices
• Learn journalistic skills from A to Z and learn how to research, produce, publish, and optimize content for digital channels
• Work with experienced journalists who will train and support you intensively
• Choose a focus according to your individual interests, whether it is business, local journalism, or social media, and become a professional in the field
• Participate in e-learnings and workshops at ProContent and Hamburg Media School
