Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student and able to work approximately 16 hours per week for at least one year
• Ideally, have previous experience in the media field through internships or freelance work
• Passion for current affairs and enjoyment of boulevard reporting, fast news, and strong headlines
• Strong writing skills and ability to work quickly and independently
• Preferably available to work on weekends, with the option to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Create content in a boulevard style, including text, photos, and videos for the News & Regional sections
• Independently research and produce search engine optimized content and viral stories
• Manage text formatting and image selection in the content management system
• Work weekend shifts and gain insight into a high-traffic newsroom
