Requirements

• Affinity for topics such as Genuss, Reise, Design, and Lifestyle
• Previous experience in publishing and a network in these areas
• Experience in portrait, reportage, and/or analysis, with a focus on digital storytelling
• Journalistic education or several years of experience in writing journalistic texts
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to go the extra mile during the project start phase

Responsibilities

• Researching, writing, and editing articles on travel, design, and lifestyle topics
• Developing strategies and formats to position Handelsblatt as the preferred read for decision-makers in Germany on weekends
• Building and expanding a network in the mentioned areas to generate exclusive and relevant stories
• Coordinating and producing contributions from external authors
• Contributing to the development of a digital program for the leading German-language business medium
