Requirements

• Strong affinity for economics, business, and society topics
• Experience in team leadership and development, as well as the implementation of new editorial projects
• Ideally, a journalism education or several years of experience in writing journalistic texts for an online editorial
• Previous responsibility for print and digital channels of large media brands

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and expansion of the Handelsblatt editorial program on weekends
• Conceptualize, supervise, and write articles in various areas such as economics, politics, literature, lifestyle, management, and society
• Serve as the editorial contact person for the editorial team, product, and sales departments in the creation and further development of the weekend section
• Lead a team and coordinate authors both within and outside the editorial team
• Strong opinionated writer and become the face of a weekly newsletter
