Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud architectures and operations
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, GKE, TauVM, CloudRun) and preferably in the DB area (e.g. PostgreSQL, CloudSQL)
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, on cloud VM or serverless
• Experience with GCP Guardrails, security services, and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, and/or Cloud Deployment)
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Project Factory & Data Flow, practical knowledge of Python/Prometheus/Grafana, and experience with programming or scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash

Responsibilities

• Review and identify improvement potential in technical concepts and IT solution designs for multi-cloud services, with a focus on container and Kubernetes solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor for the development of cloud strategy and architecture
• Provide consultation and support to application developers, engineers, and DevOps in the implementation and use of different cloud services
• Optimize applications and processes for cloud operations
• Advise on infrastructure mapping as Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
• Develop and define best practices for the use of cloud-based technologies and operational concepts, particularly in terms of frameworks, control mechanisms, and guardrails for DevOps
