Requirements

• Currently enrolled student able to work approximately 16 hours per week
• Ideally, previous experience in the media field through internships or freelance work
• Passion for current affairs and enjoys working in a fast-paced news environment
• Strong writing skills and ability to work independently
• Availability to work on weekends, preferably with the option to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Create content in the form of text, photos, and videos from the areas of news and regional topics
• Independently research and produce optimized content and viral stories
• Handle text formatting and image selection in the content management system
• Work on strategic projects and gain insights into online journalism
• Work weekend shifts and early/late shifts at the news desk
