Requirements

• Student in the field of business administration or similar, able to work approximately 20 hours per week
• Ideally, experience in venture capital, start-ups, media, M&A consulting, or investment banking
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong willingness to learn, and interest in start-up investments and corporate M&A
• Analytical skills, independent work style, and proficiency in German and English
• Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel & PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support the investment team in M&A projects
• Identify attractive investment options in the DACH region and select the best opportunities for FUNKE Digital
• Evaluate deal flows and analyze revenue models and potential synergies
• Participate in interviews with potential targets' founders or management
• Prepare decision materials for the corporate management
• Contribute to portfolio, KPI, market, and competition analyses
