Requirements

• Several years of experience in financial market reporting, including writing exclusive banking and finance stories. Experience as a foreign correspondent is advantageous.
• Deep understanding of the US financial and economic world.
• Existing network with relevant actors in business and politics.
• Excellent German and English language skills, as well as intercultural knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, report precisely under time pressure, and explain complex topics clearly.
• Completed preferably in economics and journalism.

• Presenting complex developments and connections in an understandable way.
• Reacting quickly to current events and delivering timely, precise reporting.
• Building an excellent network of relevant contacts in business and politics.
• Collaborating closely with the editorial team in Germany and colleagues at other international locations.
• Being a reliable expert in your reporting area for podcasts, video talk formats, and events.
