Requirements

• Several years of experience as a business journalist, ability to research exclusive company stories, preferably experience as a foreign correspondent
• Deep understanding of the US economy and business world
• Existing network with relevant actors in business and politics
• Excellent German and English language skills, along with intercultural knowledge
• Strong ability to work independently, report under time pressure, and explain complex topics clearly
• Completed preferably in business studies and a journalism education

Responsibilities

• Reporting on relevant developments in the US business sector with a focus on technology and innovation
• Reacting quickly to current events and delivering timely, precise reporting
• Building an excellent network of relevant contacts in business and politics
• Collaborating closely with the editorial team in Germany and colleagues at other international locations
• Being an expert in your reporting area for podcasts, video talk formats, and events
