Requirements

• Completed Volontariat in News, Online, or SEO
• Experience in managing a reach-oriented online portal
• Passion for fast-paced journalism
• Strong writing skills with a sense for topics with high reach
• Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends

Responsibilities

• Producing content related to Hamburg and Northern Germany
• Optimizing new and existing articles for Google, social media, and other distribution channels
• Editing and approving content (text, image, video) and providing feedback to authors and reporters
• Identifying and prioritizing topics based on digital metrics
• Managing the news portal based on user interests
