Requirements

• Completed Volontariat in the field of news, online, or SEO
• Previous experience in managing a high-traffic online portal is preferred
• Passion for Boulevard journalism and fast news production
• Strong writing skills with a focus on high-impact topics
• Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends

Responsibilities

• Producing content related to Hamburg and Northern Germany
• Optimizing articles for Google, social media, and other distribution channels
• Editing and reviewing content (text, image, video) and providing feedback to authors and reporters
• Identifying and prioritizing topics based on digital metrics
• Managing the news portal based on user interests
