Requirements

• Completed Volontariat in News, Online, or SEO
• Experience in managing a reach-oriented online portal
• Passion for fast news production and Boulevard journalism
• Excellent writing skills with a sense for topics with high reach
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends

Responsibilities

• Produce content that moves Hamburg and Northern Germany
• Optimize new and existing articles for Google, social media, and other distribution channels
• Edit and approve content (text, image, video) and provide feedback to authors and reporters
• Identify and prioritize topics based on digital metrics
• Manage the news portal based on user interests
